I have been both a painter and carpenter for decades, so finding new and innovative tools is always a great find. This is awesome!
Prying, scraping labels, pulling tape, lifting any edge that your fingernail can't get under, stuffing insulation around windows, cutting, are just a few uses. I discover new uses everyday .....like duct tape. This goes in my pocket every morning.
I have been painting homes and businesses for over 30 years. The vast majority of that time I have had a '5 in 1' in my side pocket on painters pants. Old school painters will always call these 5 in 1's. It could be a 30 in 1 and I will still call it a 5 in 1. This tool is the best thing I have found work related in years.
This was purchased to replace my old folding multi paint tool. These are a must for any serious homeowner or painter.
Well made and easy open and close. Scrappers are sharp and no wiggle. Pocket clip is plastic but seems strong.

Works like it should. Highly recommended.
Best tool to have as a painter!
Love these! Best 5 in 1 on the market! Most others don't fold and rip your pocket over time. This one is sturdy and folds so that your pants last longer! We've actually recommended these to our local paint store to carry because they're better than the ones that they normally carry.
I wanted this knife because i would constantly need one for a job but i always forgot mine in the van so i didnt have a knife constantly in my back pocket. This knife lets you fold it and keep it on you whenever you need it.
I love this little tool! I did a lot of spackling, sanding and painting this summer and this little thing stayed with me the whole time. It came in handy for banging paint cans closed tight as well. I love how it folds up. To open it you press down a little metal piece on the inside.
I’ve done interior and exterior paint work and used this tool to open paint cans, seal them up, scrap paint and patch holes. I like the fact that I it folds and I can clip on my pocket so it’s always with me on the ladder I’d I need to use it.
I love this I am a painter by trade and have to carry a 5 in one tool every day thy put holes in your pockets so this one that folds works well to carry all day I love it.

Bought as a gift for a professional painter. He loved it so much I had to order another for his co-workers
Haven't used it as a paint tool yet, comes really handy for wood working also. Highly recommended

I was demolishing my bathroom floor - old ceramic tile - and the underlayment had been put down with glue as well as nails. I tried a concrete chisel, a Spyder chisel on my recip saw, and a grinder. They all just slipped on the fibrous board and skimmed over the top. In frustration I grabbed this and hammered the scraper into the glue, and up it came! The scraper edge is such good quality that it survived the whole floor still plenty sharp, and the metal cap on the opposite end was clearly designed to take a beating.

I actually haven't used this as a painter's tool yet, but it came to my rescue in another way.
I like this tool. I have seen them in the paint store before but never tried one until this one.

It's super sturdy which it has to be to do it's job.
Since it's fold-able it doesn't flip and flop around in my side pocket and sometimes stick me in the leg. It's size also lets me carry a folding razor knife (another 'all the time' tool I carry) in the same pocket.

Been using a year now and still going strong.
I thought I would try this tool because it folds up. A regular "painter's tool " is a must, but you can't leave it in your pocket all the time(sharp corner). It's like having a pocket knife that does not fold, (another must have pocket tool) in my other pocket. So, when I'm painting it works as a painter's tool, but the great thing here, is that when I'm doing carpentry, it works as a multi purpose tool for an infinite amount of uses.
